ASPOCOMP GROUP’S FIRST QUARTER 2004 RESULTS BETTER THAN EXPECTED

Due to a higher capacity utilization rate during the end of the first
quarter, net sales are expected to grow 16% compared to the same
quarter last year. The result is expected to be clearly positive in all
earnings levels and earnings per share is to be approximately EUR 0.15
– 0.20.

Net sales of the quarter is expected to be almost EUR 48 million (EUR
41.1 million in the same quarter last year) and EBIT approximately 5%
of net sales (-4.1% last year).

Compared to the same quarter last year, net sales and EBIT grew mostly
in ACP Electronics Co., Ltd., Aspocomp Group’s subsidiary in China. ACP
Electronics reached clearly a positive EBIT.

Aspocomp’s net sales are expected to increase meaningfully in 2004,
with the growth being stronger towards the end of the year. The result
of fiscal year 2004 is expected to be positive.

Aspocomp will publish its first quarter interim report on May 10, 2004.
