WRIT OF SUMMONS SERVED TO ASPOCOMP GROUP OYJ
A writ of summons, filed with the Tribunal de Commerce in

Evreux, France by the administrators of the French subsidiary

Aspocomp SAS, the bankruptcy proceedings of which were initiated

on March 6, 2002, has been served to Aspocomp Group Oyj through

a summoner in Finland. The bankrupt’s estate demands that Aspo-

comp Group Oyj be identified with the French subsidiary and

based on this the bankruptcy proceedings of the subsidiary and

the liability for its debts be extended to comprehend also Aspo-

comp Group Oyj.
Under the writ of summons Aspocomp Group Oyj is to appear before

the court in France on September 10, 2002 and present its re-

sponse to the demands of the plaintiff. According to the expert

opinion available, the writ of summons and the claims presented

therein are unfounded and they will be answered in due time. As

a consequence, it is estimated that the writ of summons will not

have any impact on the profitability or on the balance sheet or

the financial position of the company.
