ASPOCOMP GROUP Oyj STOCK EXCHANGE RELEASE June 20, 2001 at 5.30PM

ASPOCOMP´S Q2 EBIT WILL BE WEAKER THAN EXPECTED

Electronic component manufacturer Aspocomp´s net sales for the second
quarter 2001 will be lower than for the first quarter 2001. The low
capacity utilization rate based on weak market demand in the
telecommunications sector leads to negative EBIT for the first half
in year 2001.

The prospects for the second half 2001 will be commented in
connection with the Q2 Interim Report on July 30, 2001.
